I have just discovered your blog and family tree on Sept 22, 2015. Martin (1726) is my 6th great-grandfather. I am descended from John Martin Gaetz (1762) and his wife Maria Heiner. My husband is a great, great grandson of Leonard Gaetz of Nova Scotia and lastly Red Deer Alberta. He possesses a family tree prepared by Dick Gaetz, his father, that has the 12 children of Leonard and their descendants. ReplyDeleteMy name is Ryan Gaetz, and my brother is Jack Gaetz, sons of Tim Gaetz (siblings of Tim are Robert Gaetz, Steve Gaetz and David Gaetz) and Isabelle Asselin, and grandson of Frank Gaetz and Laura-May Baker, not certain who franks relatives were, but we are decendants of Leonard Gaetz (1841-1907). Just adding to the tree!

ReplyDeleteMy 3rd great grandfather is Philip Isaac Gaetz, m. to Mary Turple. He was the son of George and Susanna, son of Johan Leonard, son of Johan Martin. My mother was Audrey Leola Lentz (1943-2014), daughter oi Eileen Patricia (aka Pat) Stephenson (1916-2007), daughter of William J Stephenson (1880-1965) & Leola May Glass Gaetz (1881-1960) and last but not least, daughter of Rev Leonard Gaetz (1841-1907) & Caroline Bloors Hamilton (1845-1906).
